I try to practice everyday. I'm going back to bowing the open strings because I read somewhere that students take months of open string bowing practice before advancing. Such a long way to go. Last weekend I asked an old Chinese vendor whether he knew anyone who plays the erhu and he said he'll get back to me after asking around. I'm thinking of bringing this to Chinatown next week and going to every store to ask around.

Yesterday morning while playing harmonica at a stoplight the driver to my left gave me a thumbs up, smiled and complimented my playing. Cool. When you hear (bad) harmonica playing at a stoplight it's probably me. Feel free to say hi!
