I'm posting this because other people might find it useful. Here are my notes for episodes 1-10 of Let's Speak Korean with Lisa Kelly and Kim Young Cheol. When I've gone through the whole season I will compile this in a .txt for download. Yes, I may do this for all seasons.

Episode 1 - 누구새요?
It's been a year since I came to Korea as an exchange student from the States. I have finally found a homestay house I really like.

skit summary:
Outside Youjin meets a cute guy with porcelain skin and a sharp nose. Roy arrives at the hasukjip. The residents introduce themselves to him. Youjin opts for a hug in lieu of a handshake because he is the guy she met earlier.

오늘의 생생 한국어:
누구새요? - Who are you?
이유진이라고 해요. - I'm Youjin.
반가워요. - It's nice to meet you.

vocab/patterns:
(저는/전)__이름__(-이)라고해요.

Notes:
영철 sings: '당신은 누구십니까? 저는 이유진.'
Chat: 반가워요 is shortened to 방가 방가
Hosts sing '반갑습니다.'

Episode 2 - 하나밖에
As expected, I like the atmosphere of the house. But...well...my roommate doesn't seem to like me.

skit summary:
The four are in the living room when Roy asks for his room. Chae-bol presents to him Sanjin's room. The two will be roommates but there is only one bed. Sangjin is told he will be sleeping on the floor. He throws a fit!

오늘의 생생 한국어:
따라오세요. - Come follow me.
하나밖에. - only one
그러는 게 어디있어요? - How could you do that?

vocab/patterns:
오세요 - Come.
따라 - to repeat, to follow
하나 - one
밖에 - but one (You don't have but one. Negative connotation.)
그러는 게 - doing something like that
어디 - where

notes:
영철 sings: 'I will follow you. 따라오세요.'
Lisa eats a cookie. "하나밖에 없어요."
영철: In this trademark intonation, "그러는 게 어디있어요?"

Episode 3 - 그거 좋은 생각이데요.
Well, I can't figure out the kindness of Koreans. It's different, depending on whether you're male or female and depending on personalities. Sometimes, it really confuses me.

skit summary:
Youjin is in the kitchen making coffe when Sangjin enters. Roy is reading in the living room when he is offered coffee. Sangjin takes the cup from Youjin and drinks the hot beverage. Sangjin and Youjin are both eager to learn English from Roy.

고마워. - Thanks!
이것 좀 마셔 보세요. - Take a sip. (Taste this.)
그거 좋은 생각이데요. - That's a great idea.

vocab/patterns:
고마워/감사합니다. - Thanks!/Thank you.
이것 - 'this' (very close to speaker)
좀 - a little, please
마시다 - to drink
먹다 - to eat

Episode 4 - 죄송합니다.
Well, I'm still a foreigner in Korea. I never imagined there would be a separate garbage disposal day.

skit summary:
Sangjin is caught slipping a piece of trash in a bag by the door. Garbage collection is on Wednesdays. Sangjin is blamed but it was Roy who took out the trash.

오늘의 생생 한국어:
-해야 돼요. - I have to do (something).
버려야 돼요. - to have to throw away
죄송힙니다. - I'm sorry. ㅡore formal than 마안합니다.

vocab/patterns:
숙제 해야 돼요. - I have to do homework.
영어 공부 열심히 해야 돼요. - I have to study English diligently.
버리다 - to throw away
쓰레기는 수요일에 버려야 돼요. - Take out the trash on Wednesday.
마셔야 돼요. - You have to drink (it).
알겠습니다 - Yes, I will.
-겠습니다 - I will (high form)
매일 매일 Let's Speak Korea 봐야 돼요. - You have to watch LSK everyday.

notes:
In Korea: special trash bags, trash collection days
영철의 famous line: 마안합니다 is uttered after passing gas.
알겠어!? - You understand!?
영철 salutes with '알겠습니다' (Yes, sir!).
마언해 - I'm sorry. (informal)

Episode 5 - 지갑이 어다에 있지?
Youjin and Sangjin, two other housemates experiencing the homestay. How can they be so different?

skit summary:
Youjin sits in a restaurant looking for her wallet in her bag. Sangjin, who's reading a book while eating, receives a call from her. Youjin's wallet is found on her bed. She then asks for her cellphone which she is actually using.

지갑이 어다에 있지? - Where is my wallet?
아니, 없어. - No, I don't have it.
찾았다. - I found it.

Episode 6 - 키가 커 보여요.
In Korea you should pay special attention even when you go to restaurants. There are many restaurants where you should sit on the floor.

skit summary:
The three guys compare heights while eating and grilling at a reastaurant. Later, Chae-bol and Youjin meet in the streets. Chae-bol looks taller than usual. Sangjin is at management training (M.T.). At home, Chae-bol he tries to hide his shoes from Youjin.

키가 커 보여요. - [You] look tall.

가다 - to go
어디 - where
가세요? - are you going?

커 (크다) - big, tall

이상하네. - How strange. -네 ending connotes making an observation

notes:
영철 is tall enough to not need 키높이 신발 (shoes with high heels). He is 182 cm.
Lisa may go home or clubbing when the show is over and 영철 will follow. (리사를 따라 갈래요.)

Episode 7 - 못 먹어요.
When you travel overseas you could face unexpected food-related situations. It happens in Korea, too.

skit summary:
Roy and Youjin find Chae-bol eating exotic food in the living room. Sangjin arrives with pig intestine sausage. Youjin denies enjoying these delicacies because Roy is listening.

못 먹어요. - I can't eat it.
아건 뭐예요? - What is this?
배불러요. - I'm full.

아가씨 - young lady title

Lisa: Does anybody ever say to you you look like an 아저씨.
영철: Lisa you look like 아줌마!
영철 says he doesn't like Thai food.
When we want to see each other we say "보고 싶어요." As a joke, we sometimes say "보고 파요."

Episode 8 - 빌려줘.
Misers are everywhere, wherever you go. But if my roommate is one... oh no!

skit summary:
Roy is working out when Sangjin comes in to borrow his cellphone so he can order out. Later, the two are studying when Youjin comes in with the Art History handout Sangjin is looking for. He uses a 'cute' face to beg for it. Instead of lending it to Sangjin, she goes out with Roy.

오늘의 생생 한국어:
빌려줘. - Let me borrow it.
안 돼. - No way; you can't; no can do
도와줘. - Help me out.

vocab/patterns:
빌려주세요. - Let me borrow it.
빌려줄게. - I'll loan it to you.
도와주세요. - Please help me. (honorific)

notes:
영철 borrows Lisa's camera forever. Later he asks, "You wanna borrow my glasses?"
영철 sings '안 돼, 안 돼. 그러면 안 돼. 안 돼.'

Episode 9 - 서로 앞으로 말놓자.
I can't figure out Koreans' ages so my conclusion is to speak in honorific form regardless of who I'm talking to.

skit summary:
Roy, Youjin and Chae-bol speak of ages and honorific speech over ramen bowls. Youjin offers Sangjin chocolates and asks him whether Roy looks older than her or not. Youjin storms out because she was deemed older-looking. Sangjin is upset because he was called 아저씨.

오늘의 생생 한국어:
몇 살이에요? - How old are you?
서로 앞으로 말놓자. - Let's speak to each other comfortably. (as opposed to honorific speech)

vocab/patterns:
(저는) _[스물]__ 살이에요. I am [20] years old.
서른 - 30
마흔 - 40
서로 - to each other
앞으로 - in the future; in front of you
말 - speech; speak
놓다 - to bring down
형이라고 불러. - You can call me "형."
형 - title for older male friend (of a younger male)
오빠 - title for older female friend (of a younger female)
notes:
Asking about someone's age is common in Korea.
영철 and Lisa lie about their age.

Episode 10 - 강아지 키우자.
I miss my family and friends in the States, even my dog, Angelina.

skit summary:
Roy and Youjin are sitting on the couch when Roy brings up Angelina, his dog. When they talk about getting a poodle, Sangjin mishears this as 'pudding.' Chae-bol is not too keen on the idea of raising a dog in the 하숙집.

오늘의 생생 한국어:
귀엽다. - [You're] so cute.
강아지 키우자. - Let's raise a puppy.
뭐라고? - What are you saying?, What do you mean?, What are you trying to say?, What did you say? [I didn't hear you.], Did you really just say that!?

vocab/patterns:

키우다 - to raise
난 - orchid
나무 - tree. E.g. 나무를 키우자.
꽃 - flower
애완동물 - a pet

notes:
Pets are cute but 영철 is scared of dogs.
영철 speaks Russian at the end of the segment.
