Episode 11 - 부자래.
There was much ado in the hasukjip today. It all started with what Youjin heard from someone.
skit summary:
Youjin storms into the living room where Sangjin is reading. Apparently, Chae-bol is very rich because he's the head of a big company. Chae-bol settles the matter by saying his name is Chae-bol, not his position.

vocab/patterns:
부자 - a rich person
-(이)래 - something you heard from somebody that you're passing on to somebody else. E.g. 부자래; 학생이래.
얘기 - story; rumor; to talk (얘기하다)
그/그게 - that
사실 - truth
무슨 얘기? - What story/rumor?

Episode 12 - 정말 너무해요.
Our landlord seems very strict, always emphasizing the importance of rules. But he seems a little different when it comes to food.
skit summary:
Sangjin and Roy picked up a table from the street. Unfortunately new furniture is not allowed in their room so Chae-bol claims it. The homestay students are eating pizza when Chae-bol joins them. Later they lock the door prior to snacking to keep Chae-bol away from their food however...

Episode 13 - 역속 좀 지켜.
I haven't been here long, so I want to hang out with friends and experience new things. But the hasukjip curfew is always a drag. The next day, the kids hurry back home only to find Chae-bol sleeping on the couch.
skit summary:
Chae-bol is alone in the living room counting down from 6. The two guys come in just in time but where is Youjin? She's out past the curfew and gets a scolding from Chaebol.

Episode 14 - 내가 왜 이러지?
I keep forgetting things. Maybe it's because I almost had a nervous breakdown because of my homework. I have to pull myself together today.
skit summary:
Roy is off to school but he forgets his bag. Also, he is wearing different colored socks. In the next scene he phones the wrong person. While eating jajangmyun with the rest of the tenants, Roy reaches for the pickled radish not realizing he has a lot in his bowl.

도대체 왜 그래? - What in the world is wrong with you? (sarcastic with a lot of emphasis)
vocab/patterns:
실수(하다) - mistake; to make a mistake
잘 - well
신발을 잘못 신었어요. - (He) wore the wrong shoes.
말 잘못 했어요./말 실수 했어요. - I didn't say it/speak properly.

도대체 언제 할꺼야? - When are you gonna do it?

notes:
영철 is wearing mismatched shoes and blames his tight schedule for being absent-minded. According to him, he usually blames other people when he makes mistakes. Later, Lisa joins in when he sings "내가 왜 이러는지 몰라~몰라~."

Episode 15 -
Youjin's friend came to our hasukjip today but why are they whispering and staring at me?
skit summary:
Youjin's friend is enamored with Roy and wants to be fixed up with him. Youjin says he's taken and admits to being his girlfriend. Outside, the two girls are walking together when they run into Roy.

vocab/patterns:
연결시키다./소게시키다. - Hook me up with that person. (Introduce me to him/her.)
운 - short for good luck (행운)
행운을 빌어요. - I wish you good luck.
저는 운이 좋아요. - I have good luck.
까치 - crow
__A__보다 더 __B__? - When is comes to B (adverb, adjective), is A (noun) better?
e.g., 피자가 햄버거 보다 더 맛있어? - Does pizza taste better than a hamburger?

예뻐 - pretty (adjective with feminine connotation)
나보다 더 잘생겼어? - Is he more handsome than me?
notes:
Lisa asks her cohost if he has a girlfriend but his standards are high.
If you see on early in the morning crows (까치) are symbols of good luck in Korea. Same digits in the clock is also good luck e.g. 1:11, 2:22 but not 4:44 because 4 is a bad number.
내가 쟤보다 더 예뻐? - Is that guy prettier than me? This is an incorrect construction because 예뻐 is a feminine word.
